At the heart of The Centre of Excellence’s educational vision is to train, educate and add skills and values. Our aim is to equip our students with the kinds of minds that are required for them to become a part of the automotive industry. Our students are trained using the latest automotive industry training methods and our core purpose is to have our students achieve their certificates at an industry ready level. The Institute of Excellence offers skills development, training, and placement, for those who have high school diploma and pass the courses we provide.
HOW TO….
- Register online and receive your student number.
- Ensure you have a valid matric certificate.
- Ensure you have a drivers license by the time you complete your course in order for you to join the motor industry.
- Each course can be done at your own pace depending on the time and funding available. However, a 6-month cut-off will be applied for the first two introductory and the basic course i.e course 1 and course 2.
- Start the course of your choice by releasing the initial module after payment is made.
- Complete each module and upload all examination requirements for evaluation.
- Once you have successfully completed a module you may proceed to the successive module for the same course.
- You may purchase the entire course at once if required.
- Support will be given via forums, blogs, teams or zoom meetings
Shannon Loder
With over 25 years’ experience in the motor industry Shannon Loder began his career selling vehicles. He progressed up the ranks and has held the position of Dealer Principal as well as Regional Franchise Manager. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his vast knowledge of the motor retail sales industry he has committed to train and add skills to the nation from school leavers to those wishing to further their careers. Being in the industry, Shannon Loder recognised that there was a skills shortage in matriculants applying for jobs in the automotive industry. As a result, he established The Institute of Excellence and developed courses to nurture South African’s and drive economic growth in the motor industry.
The Institute of Excellence caters for the student who wishes to study at his or her own pace and within his or her own budget. The courses have been designed to be easily understood yet offering a high standard of proficiency to ensure that you as the student receives the necessary training to enter the job market with a head start having the necessary professional skill set to be employed.
